What am I all about?

Looking for an experienced wedding MC for your special day?

Or perhaps you’re considering your options for a Master of Ceremonies for your next corporate event?

I’m a Melbourne-based professional, who will bring a fresh vibe to your event. This energy is underpinned by years of experience in comedy and stage performing.

From comedic story telling to resident musician for Australia’s premier comedy improv group I enjoy many mediums for making an event run smoothly including MCing on weekends

My experience as a wedding MC

I’ve been working as a professional voice since 2004

I started doing regular segments on triple JJ for The Chaser’s Craig Reucassel and Chris Taylor. Moving into standup comedy, writing for TV and music production. I MCed my first wedding for a friend in 2008, which also included assisting the various speech givers in writing their perfect speeches. I’ve been asked to do many more since then.

My friend Ross McMahon works regularly in a wedding band. He suggested I establish myself a professional MC for hire. So here I am. I simply love the work.

My experience as a professional MC

I’ve been really fortunate to work for and in some of Melbourne’s best venues. I’ve also been responsible for managing events of all sizes. Experience I’m really happy to pass onto you as my client.

My point of difference

More than just a comedian, I understand that the point of the MC is to ensure the night runs smoothly. I’m good at thinking on my feet and going with the flow. I really think my personal point of difference is that I’m warm, professional and very down-to earth.

The MC is the first person your guests hear from at your wedding reception — and so they really set the tone for the rest of the night. Your MC might physically be front and centre, but the spotlight should shine on you. After all, this is your night. It’s all about you.

When you book me as your event or wedding MC

When you book me as your event or wedding MC, you’ll get someone:

  • you can relate to

  • who really understands the ins and outs of the wedding / events business.

  • who’ll take care of the details

  • who’ll ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible, and

  • who will work hard to make you and your guests feel really special.

Meaning less stress for you and more fun for everyone, all round. And at the end of the day, isn’t that what it’s all about?
